1) You're sitting on a log and smell the odor of freshly-cut cucumber.  What deadly creature is about to strike?  Answer:  Copperhead snake.  The musk it gives off when excited resembles cucumbers.

2)  You are completely lost in the mountains and as you walk along, you come to a fork in the road.  Which fork should you take?    Answer:  Neither. The odds say you should turn around.  As you get deeper into the wilderness, roads tend to divide, like tributaries of a stream. Our mountain survival dvd explains this in detail.

3) What device in your car can be used to detect the severity of a thunderstorm?     Answer: Your car radio, when set to AM band and tuned in-between radio stations will pick up lightning bolts. They sound like static.

4)  Your matches are wet.  What's a quick way to dry them?     Answer:  Rubbing wet matches through your hair numerous times will leach the moisture out of the matches.

5)  Going on a trip to the mountains, you have the choice to wear cotton, down or wool.  Which is warmest when wet?  Answer:  Wool.  Cotton and down fibers collapse when wet. Wool continues to insulate.

6) Why would you want to have some supermarket plastic grocery bags with you?  Answer:  To keep your feet dry.  Put the bags over your feet before putting on your shoes.
